How To Fit Insurance Leads Into Your Routine

How do you best fit your internet leads into your everyday routine?

There are two key things about working internet leads that you should always remember:

  • They're sent in real-time. That means they're rolling into your email inbox as soon as the prospect requesting a quote enters our system.
  • To get the best close ratio, you have to work them fast. A prospect's interest is at its highest when they request their quote. And it's when you have the best chance to close the sale.

Does that mean you need to stay chained to your desk all day long? Not at all.

You don't want to be stuck behind your desk, waiting for your leads to show up. But it is a good idea to contact them as soon as they come in. So where's the compromise?

It's a good idea to check for new leads first thing in the morning. People request quotes at all hours of the day. Don't be surprised if you have some waiting for you when you get to the office. Try calling these leads first, before you let any of the day's other business distract you.

If possible, try to split up your day. Take care of all the administrative tasks and other "computer business," and then move on to the things that take you away from your desk. Many of the agents in our network tell us that the majority of their leads arrive in the morning, so generally that's the best time to be at your desk.
