Prospect Zone Enhances Affiliate Program To Give Affiliates In The Mortgage And Insurance Space Unprecedented Control Over Accounts And Earnings

CHICAGO, IL – May 14, 2006 – Prospect Zone, Inc. today announced improvements to its mortgage and insurance affiliate programs that allow affiliate members to access detailed reports on how their web traffic is generated, giving them unprecedented control over their affiliate accounts and profits. Prospect Zone has the only affiliate programs in the mortgage or insurance space that provides affiliates this degree of control.

New values available to affiliates for tracking are:

"lead_url" - where the lead was posted from
"ref_url" - the referring url that passed the consumer to the lead_url
"ref_keywords" - keywords (if any) used by the consumer at the ref_url
"subaff" - ID issued by the affiliate within their own tracking software to match up their sources with each individual lead

The option to track these values addresses three core issues that traditionally plague affiliate marketers in both the mortgage and insurance space:

Keywords – In the past, affiliates had to settle for knowing simply which keywords converted into a lead, not which ones converted into valid leads. With Prospect Zone’s new keyword tracking, affiliates can now increase their Earning Per Click (EPC) and decrease their overall cost by cutting off terms that produce invalid leads.

Affiliates can also increase their spending on terms that consistently produce good leads, creating more revenue from those terms and increased profit.
Sources – Affiliates have been able to utilize conversion tracking software add-ons to generally gauge where they are experiencing click fraud. A challenge unique to lead generation is that an affiliate might also receive fraudulent leads in addition to fraudulent clicks. Fraudulent leads are people who are not really interested in a mortgage or insurance quote, or could even be a source that is purposefully driving bad traffic to cash in on the affiliate offer.

With new Prospect Zone tracking, affiliates finally have a way of identifying and eliminate the CPC or CPM source that is impeding earnings with fraudulent leads.
